Tyton Tagprint for Windows -- Version 6.0 "Cheat Sheet" To Make a Label: 1- Activate TagPrint Icon. 2- Click on "Select Label" Icon which is on second horizontal bar selection line. 3- Choose particular printer; Thermal Transfer, TT10SM, Tab-Tag Self Lam, Laser Tags, etc. (If a demo disk, to print - you need to make sure you select the right label for your printer). 4- Select particular label: For demonstration purpo'ses, choose larger label. 5- Click on Select. 8- When you see 'Template Guide", press OK. This gives you one text box. 7- To enlarge label, go to arrow next to 100% box and click in this arrow. 8- Click on necessary percentage to make more user friendly. 9- Double click inside dotted text box. 10- "Pmperties" box asks you for source of text. Click on "Fixed" circle and click OK. 11- Double click in text box again. 12- Begin typing text and/or characters. Multiple lines wrap amund and size themselves. 13- Click mouse cursor outside label. 14- To adjust size of text box, or any box later created, click and hold any of the black squares that are part of the outline of the text (image, bar-code) box(s). To use Table function: 15- Go to "Format" on the upper horizontal bar line selection. Click on "Pm perties". 16- Click on "Table" circle, then press OK. 17- Click on "File" in the upper horizontal bar line selection. 18- Click on "New". 19- Click on "Table". This will open a table. 20- Press OK to Character and Column default. 21- Click in "Cell Al" (Should be yellow depending on computer's settings. Color could vary). 22- Enter Text/Characters. 23- Press the down arrow of your keyboan:l. Continue to complete your random data in the table. 24- Press enter when done entering data, then hit the [A] toggle on the second tool bar at top. #25 To use Sequencing Feature of Table: Otherwise go to step #36 25- Click cursor in "Cell Al". Cell Al should now be highlighted. 26- Click on "Table" in the upper horizontal bar line selection. 27- Click on "Sequence". 28- For a set "Prefix~, enter in the box what the fixed information would be. 29- For your seq uendng variables, for example; 100 - 200; put cursor in "start" box and type 100. 30- Put cursor in "stop" box and type 200. 31- For a set "Suffix", enter in the box what the fixed information would be. 32- Click OK. 33- Click back on the label. 34- Press the "[A]" icon in the horizontal Icon bar line selection if you havent already done this. 35- Go back to "Cell Al" of the table and down arrow. The label should change as you toggle. To Create a Graphic Image 36- While on label side of screen (if table is open), click on the"Easel" icon at the vertical icon bar on the left side of the the screen. 37- Click, Hold, and Drag a box to your desired size on the label. You must stay in the label. 38- In the "Image Properties" box, click on "Import". 39- Double click on "Tyton 6". 40- Double click on "Clip Art". 41- Click on the first ".WMF" file and use the down arrow key on keyboard to preview images. 42- Choose an image and click on OK. 43- Size your box if necessary. 44- Or double click in the image you created on the label, to see "Image Properties" again. 45- At bottom left, click on "Center" anWor "Fit", then OK. To Create Bar Code: 48- While on Template side of screen, click on the "Bar Code" icon on the left vertical side bar. 47- Click, Hold, and Drag the mouse to form the desired bar code box. (If scissors appear, it means you need to modify the parameters of the bar code). 48- Go to "Format" in the upper horizontal bar line selection. 49- Click "Properties". 50- Click "Fixed". 51- Click on rectangle to the right of "Fixed" and enter Capitalized Text and/or Numerics. 52- Click OK when finished with the bar code identification. 53- If you still see scissors, go back to "Format" in the upper horizontal bar line selection. 54- Click "Bar Code Type". 55- Click "Settings". 56- Change Height to .200 (additional adjustment may have to be made for your selected label). 57- Change Module to .009 (additional adjustments may have to be made for your selected label). 58- Change Compensation to "0" from "1" 59- Change Ratio to "Other" and enter 1.5:1. 60- Click on "Show Cleartext" at bottom left of Settings Code39 box so it shows an "X" in box. 61- Click "OK" for Settings Code 39 box. 62- Click "OK" for Bar Code box. 63- If scissors still appear, continue to adjust. Minimize the number of characters that identifies the bar code to three (for demonstration) or choose a larger label. To Print a Resulting Label (If using a demo disk, it is most likely that you will print this on a dot matrix, ink jet, or laser printer. If this is the case, you will want to do the following:) 64- Click on "File". 65- Go to "Printer Setup". 66- Make sure that the appropriate printer is selected (i.e., laser, ink jet, dot matrix). 67- Click on "OK". 68- Take your mouse arrow and click on the "printer icon" on the tool bar feature at the top. 69- The demo disc will limit the amount of labels that you can print. Should you have a full working copy of our software, input the number of copies that you would want: All, range, or selection. 70- Click "OK".
